I am pleased to announce, effective October 2nd, 2017, JAMES WHITE has joined us as one of the four Senior Management Team members at WELLMASTER PIPE & SUPPLY INC.
As Senior Manager – Business Development, James brings with him 20 years of private and public sector team management experience.
James joins us from his successful career as Senior Advisor to Manitoba Premier, the Honourable Brian Pallister. Prior to this, James served on the Premier’s Transition to Government Team that coordinated the formation of Manitoba’s new government following the 2016 provincial election. James was a senior
member of the Premier’s Provincial Campaign Team, and served as Mr. Pallister’s Chief of Staff while in Opposition.
Prior to 2013, James work with the Government Canada including as Policy and Regional Affairs Advisor to the Minister of State for Transport.
Before his employment with the Manitoba and Federal Governments, James gained more than six years of private sector experience as a public opinion and market research consultant serving clients in the telecommunications, and banking sectors as well as the federal and provincial governments.
James is no stranger to Wellmaster. As a youth, James worked on Wellmaster’s shop floor gaining valuable work experience that served him well throughout his career.
James earned his Bachelors of Arts Honours Degree at the University of Western Ontario. He then continued his education and completed a Masters of Public Administration at Queen’s University, which included graduate studies in financial management, economics, statistics and labour relations.
James, his wife and their three boys, have decided to accept Wellmaster’s offer to return to private industry and relocate to Ontario. However, they remain steadfast fans of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and of course, the Jets.
Wellmaster remains dedicated to constantly improving customer service levels with new equipment, products, processes, and experienced personnel. Please join me in welcoming James and his family to Ontario and Wellmaster.
